Adios Weesh!

I heard a sad story the other day that ePrize's marketing maven... the sizzle on the steak... the toothpick in the cake... is heading for greener pastures. Best of luck!

Heard there was another "workforce reduction" yesterday but don't know the details of how many or who.

Ahhh, "Weesh". So unstable. I remember when she was stalking one of the creative directors. Used to show up "unexpectedly" where ever he (and his wife!) were hanging out. She was a nutter!

Remember Fatal Attraction, if you own a bunny make sure it is well protected.Otherwise it could end up in the boiling pot. All the imaginary Eprize sizzle must send people into some sort of hallucinatory state, because in reality you want steak not just sizzle.

I remember a night back at the Farmington Hills office when she went off on a co-worker. Something about the co-worker's love for Michigan, and her love of Ohio State. She took it too far, yelled at him and offered to "take it outside." I remember sitting back, watching and laughing at the whole thing... the poor bastard actually tried to have a conversation with her and she threatened him with physical harm.

5 people got axed yesterday + some outsourcers.

And now no Weesh. Whatever is eprizzle dizzle going to do? Maybe Ivan the CMO and market them back to success!

For some reason every picture I see of her makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit.

Is that normal?

Too bad no one had a picture or video of her yelling 'We're number one'. That would have been a more appropriate lead image.

I can't wait to see all the stories that come out. She always struck me as a bit odd, I always figured she was 'eprizer'.

Maybe it's before or after my time, but what's the deal with the 'weesh' nickname?

Ah, Weesh. She used to stare at your chest (along with that wonderful head twitch she did) when she spoke to you.

And yes, she struck a lot of people as "odd."

" people got axed yesterday + some outsourcers."

Wait a second, wait a second......

I thought ePrize "doesnt outsource." At least thats what their sales team is telling clients. More lies.......

They outsourced heavily years ago, larger scale projects (like loyalty stuff) usually had some outsourced involvement. Can't say if they do that anymore.

you people are complete assholes. Everyone has their quirks, but Alesya worked her ass off for seven years. She did amazing things for this company, helped build the brand and market leadership position, and helped make it fun. You had no problem enjoying the parties she worked all night on, or enjoying the perks she made happen. But you are now bad-mouthing her? You people make me SICK. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Why would you tarnish the good name of a talented, hardworking person who is now leaving to have a baby? You have some big-time issues... go see a therapist.

Have to agree with the last post. Anonymous pissing and moaning about people is a bit on the cowardly side. I loved the parties.

On another note, this is by far one of the entertaining parts of my day. It's a bit like reading US weeekly though. Has absolutely no value beyond entertainment.

@Dayton, agreed, quite entertaining... not much value beyond that. Which is enough for me :)

@anonymous whining about Alesya...
One last time... if you post as anonymous and bitch about other people posting anonymously... you're not really making much of a point. You actually look like a doof.

Obviously she wasn't loved by all. I'm not sure who needs a therapist more, the folks who vent about how they feel in a forum intended for that or someone who trolls in here trying to defend people we obviously didn't care for. This is the wrong audience for that.

As for party planning... I had to work through at least one of those parties that took place right in the middle of our goddamn work area. We had to pick up and move our shit to unused offices to get work done because the planner worked their ass off so hard, they felt it necessary to interrupt productions work day. Yes, it was a night party, for those just tuning in, that was a production work day. Excuse me if I don't give two shits about her party planning. Especially when I was not one of the people enjoying it.

She embodies the big kool-aid dude that fed every one else the company line bullshit. The person who had local tv stations and radio stations going gaga over the bright shiny upbeat work environment, glazing over the fact that it was built on the back of everyone working insane hours.

What ever happened to the annual fanfare and bugle blowing announcing to the the world We are the No 1 Interactive Agency (which is not the truth) and were growing xxx% this year. Maybe because the $42 million that was raised has been pissed up the wall from all the corporate parties. When the cash runs out, the party quickly ends, and the prodigal son returns to the investors cap in hand.Wait and see.

I've read this blog ever since it started and this is the first time I have chosen to comment. I worked with Alesya for years and even shared an office with her in Farmington Hills. She is a good person and always honest, at least with me. I respect her for her hard work.

If she really left ePrize to have a child than my best wishes go out to her. Those that knock her clearly don't know the true Alesya.

Ok, to be honest Alesya wasn't THAT bad, but she did float around the office like she was above the rest and if she didn't get what she wanted she would behave like a petulant child.

Maybe she just needed a time out?

Or maybe she's getting one right now....

She wasn't bad, though she had a disconcerting habit of staring at a person's chest as she talked. I thought only guys did that.

Actually, I believe the reasons for her leaving are multi-fold. She is having a baby, and her husband (a doctor) is taking her to North Carolina for residency or something like that.

I believe there were other internal factors pushing things along but she has a legitimate reason for departing on her own terms.

Good for her. =)

So when is Alyesa's last day anyways?

Alesya got a lot of "play" at ePrize. She used to stalk the person that eventually became creative director and then had an affair with the boss man when they were in Amsterdam.

You've got some big shoes to fill, Tia. Boffin' the boss yet?

ha ha ha with all the "offsite meetings" josh held on his boat with both tia and alesya i surprised they arent an official threesum!
